I found Precious Cargo Movers by mistake and I am glad I did! I saw a Groupon and thinking this was the company it was for, I called to see if they were available for the date I needed. Although similar company names, they are not associated/affiliated with the company on Groupon. However seeing the good reviews on Google and the excellent rates, I decided to book with PCM. I spoke to Jackson to schedule and he was professional and friendly. The two gentlemen who came on moving day were super friendly, took good care of our stuff and hard workers. I was very impressed and would highly recommend this company for your moving needs!

Overall, a pleasant experience as far as moves go; it's hard to find a moving company that will respond in a timely manner after you've reached out, but they were very responsive. While they were late (I had to call the main line for an ETA and the movers' truck was on my street before the call ended), my movers Dean and Griffin were personable and good at what they did.

I had just driven 7 hours from another state and received horrible service from the original moving company that I’d booked who eventually left without touching anything in my moving truck because they were “unprepared”. As I’m standing outside of my new apartment with a packed truck, I found Precious Cargo Movers online and called. They were very professional, understanding, and most importantly, fast. The contract was sent to me while I was on the phone with them and movers arrived in less than 2 hours. The guys who physically moved my items were also professional, well prepared for the job (had moving equipment ready), and again, so fast! They had me moved in in no time. The guys were nice and kept me laughing which made me feel better after having such a rough morning. I’m so thankful for Precious Cargo Movers. Had a great experience with Precious Cargo Movers today. The two men were very professional and careful with my items. My (former) apt complex has strict rules about truck parking and elevator usage for moves. The guys were very understanding, worked within those rules and had my stuff loaded in an hour. Entire move took less than 3 hours even with 2 drop-off locations. Will definitely recommend and rehire when I move again.

I was very impressed with Precious Cargo Movers. I’ve used other well know “two men” companies but these are by far the best. So responsive and punctual. They did everything they promised. They email you the contract BEFORE they arrive so you know what you’re signing on the day of the move as opposed to being handed a five page fine print document that you’re paying the hourly rate to read! All of the terms of the contract were reasonable and merely restated what they told me on the phone. No upfront signing and no prepayment required and the cost was exactly as estimated. They were very careful with my stuff but worked quickly to accomplish the move. The guys were really friendly and personable. Chianti and Serrock (sorry if I misspelled) were great. The movers for Precious Cargo did a great job. There were a little late getting to my home due to running late finishing up another move. However, the movers made up for being late by completing my move from my home in Jonesboro to my new home within the Chamblee-Tucker area in about four hours. They took proper care when moving delicate items (i.e., flat screen TV, bookcase, and bed). I will definitely use Precious Cargo for my move in the future.

They did such an incredible job that, when I needed to move back to Boston a year later, I reached out in hopes that they would do the long-distance move for me. The two guys showed up, introduced themselves, laid out the contract and started moving. Our movers, Keiunte and Ciroc were professional and cordial. They were kind, knowledgeable, very quick and efficient, and handled our crazy move from a second floor apartment to a third floor apartment like champs. Of all our things, one cup was cracked and that was it, despite it being really rough to move all our boxes up and down stairs in dollies. They powered through almost five hours of moving. Only minor thing is that they were an hour late (though they didn't start the time until they get there).

I have used Precious Cargo 3 times. I recommend using them for your next professional move. They use caution and care when moving your personal items and listen to requests given. The last moved took longer than expected. A few items were put in space that should have been in the house. I would suggest a better system to remove furniture off the truck when using elevators. I used 3 movers and at times all of them were on one floor putting stuff in space. Someone should have been left to unload the truck and place items on the elevator to expedite. Despite this, I will still hire them again.

The entire moving process is truly the worst. Packing and cleaning, change of address, dealing with utilities. However, Precious Cargo Movers made the actual move itself so pleasant. This was my first experience with professional movers and I've only ever heard horror stories from other people about movers being overpriced, careless, slow, or late. You won't get that from Precious Cargo Movers. Before the move, customer service was quick to respond to all my emails. They held true to the rate they provided, which was very competitive. They even sent the contract for me to review prior to the move so I could review it. Dean and Kumar were friendly, polite, and professional. They were also on time! And most importantly they moved FAST. I had a full (large) 1BR apartment's worth of furniture and boxes. There were stairs at the old place and a elevator at the new place. They came in right at 4 hours from arrival to emptying out the truck. There was no damage to any of my belongings. They didn't didn't lollygag. They moved at a great pace and made sure to put everything where I needed it in my new home. I expressed concern about moving my large glass dining table. They took special care to make sure it was packed and loaded without any damage. They also handled a 47" tv and an oversized couch, in addition to the usual smaller furniture and boxes. After speaking with tons of movers, I found this company and had them out to move my furniture within just 2 days. Initially I was a little concerned by some of the negative reviews, but on a leap of faith decided to give them a try, especially since my moving needs were pretty simple and straightforward. When I explained to the owner that I was in need of an evening move, he didn't hesitate to set it up for me, and even waived the three hour minimum rule as well. The two movers arrived 10 mins before our set appointment time and immediately got to work. They were friendly and professional, wrapped every piece in blankets and plastic. This was my first time using movers and I would definitely use them again. They were initially 30 minutes late due to gps sending them the wrong way but once they arrived they went straight to work. I was nervous about them moving several glass tables but they were very careful with them as well as all of my belongings. They moved very fast and were very polite and friendly. I received six quotes for Atlanta movers, and Precious Cargo was by far the least expensive. The other five quotes came in around 160 per hour plus a transportation fee. Precious Cargo was 85 per hour with no additional fees. The two men that moved us got the job done very quickly and efficiently, only 3 hours for the entire move! They worked hard and were very professional. I heard about them from two separate friends who used them and had equally good experiences. How other movers stay in business I have no idea. Amazing service at half the cost.

I must admit, I was skeptical about hiring a moving service, just because I did not know if it was worth the money. Let me tell you, IT IS!!!!! Precious Cargo disassembled & moved all of my belongs from a third floor apartment and then moved them and reassembled them to another 3rd floor apartment in three hours (and that includes drive time). They are fast, efficient and professional, making sure that all furniture that can be scratched is wrapped and protected. I would recommend their services to anyone.

These movers literally saved the day for us. We had booked a mover who was less than stellar (he was scheduled to show up on a Sunday for us at 11 am. and pulled a no-show). After the no-show by the other mover, I contacted Jackson with Precious Cargo Movers, and he told me he thought he could get us worked in by 4 pm the same day! He followed up with us immediately, confirmed they would be there at 4, and they actually got there before we did (they were 10 minutes early)! The guys were very nice, courteous, and were dressed nicely with a t-shirt indicating the company they worked for. They wrapped the nicer items in plastic and used blankets. The cost was $80/hr for 2 guys and a 24 foot truck. They finished the move from the home to the upstairs in about 3 hours. Jackson followed up with us to make sure we were happy. I have no connection with this company. I have never used movers before either. The rate was outstanding and they had better reviews than some other competitors... so I decided to give them a chance. They came a few minutes late which is fine because it was raining and they called to tell me they were behind (much appreciated). They were all responsible and seemed to care not to damage my low end furniture. They had to really work to get a couple of couches up some stairs and through tight spaces. Originally we had just 2 guys, but when they saw the amount of furniture and other items to move, they recommended we add a third mover, which we did. These 3 guys worked all day, up and down many flights of stairs, and they took great care of all of our belongings. No damages, no issues. The gentleman coordinating the move and the two movers who showed up were wonderful. They worked hard and non-stop with no complaining. I had a lot of heavy landscaping rocks and they moved those without a problem and worked unloading my stuff until after 11pm! The only reason I can't give a 5-star review is because I was told they would be wrapping/blanketing my furniture...and so once I hired them I didn't blanket my things. I asked them the day of the move if they would be blanketing things, and they said they would be. But not everything got blanketed...so I am not sure if they ran out of blankets or what. But in terms of reliability and taking care with boxes and so forth, I thought they did an outstanding job.
